  ATEC is excited to announce the Introduction to Algae Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). The Massive Open Online Course offered through Coursera was produced by the University of California, San Diego and the Algae Technology Educational Consortium and taught by Drs. Steve Mayfield of UCSD and Ira “Ike” Levine, University of Southern Maine.

  Algae Cultivation Extension Short-course

  (ACES: Part 1 & Part 2)

  The Algal Cultivation Extension Short-course (ACES) is the extension/outreach component of the Algae Technology Educational Consortium (ATEC). Part 1 covers Macroalgae and is designed for those seeking to learn the basic skills to grow seaweeds from USA and around the world. Part 2 covers Microalgae and is designed for those seeking to learn about algae cultivation and harvesting technologies, algae biofuel, wastewater treament and food products.
