The Foundation has established a repository for the personal libraries and reprint collections of retiring algal professionals.

The reprint depository is intended to be a permanent resource of classic and out-of-print journal articles, texts, manuscripts, books and in the future, herbarium specimens. The intent of this collection is the reprint digitization and database formulation making the libraries available to the algal community and beyond. Historically, retiring professors passed along their libraries to prized students or institutions but in this digital age, the Algae Foundation hopes to create a collection to be an asset to the entire algal world; students and professors, commercial and industrial concerns, national lab and research institutions, extension agents and technicians-in-training.

The Algae Foundation will accept donations, arrange for the shipping and provide receipts and acceptance letters for your non-profit, tax deductible donation.
